Food: Review of Soong Kee Beef Ball Noodles

Those who works in the heart of KL would  have definitely patronise the famous Soong Kee Beef Ball noodles. Situated at the intersection of Jalan Tun H.S. Lee and Jalan Tun Tan Siew Sin, you certainly would not miss it.

Lunch hour crowd
Restoran Soong Kee, famous for their beef ball noodles is housed in the corner of pre-World War II shops along Jalan Tun H.S. Lee. The place will be packed full during lunch hour mostly with hungry office workers.

From the air conditioned dining area, you can have a full view of the kitchen where the beef noodles are prepared. As you can see, the place is bustling with patrons. So, if you are thinking of a quiet leisure lunch and chit-chat session with your friends, this would not be the place (during peak hours). But, if you have the pangs for beef ball noodles, Soong Kee is definitely the place to be.

Menu pricing as at Jun 2013
You can find their menu pasted on the glass door. A small bowl of beef ball noodles and a drink is around RM 6.50.

Their table 'decorations'.

My order of beef ball noodles arrived. Ahhh ... their springy Hakka noodles covered with their famous minced beef and pork cooked with their special ingredient sauce. Freshly boiled choy sum is added for a well-balanced diet.

The noodle is served together with their famous beef ball noodles floating on piping hot soup.

The complete meal accompanied with their tasty chilli sauce.

Soong Kee beef ball noodles are certainly one of the best in KL. They have another outlet at Lot 10 Hutong that is more strategically located for those who wants to take a break from their shopping spree.
