Food: Review of Bread Delicious Bakery - Viva Home Cheras

Viva Home Shopping Mall located along Jalan Loke Yew, Cheras is an integrated one-stop centre for customers to locate all their home needs in one location. A first of its kind in Malaysia, Viva Home gathers all the exciting and diverse retailers under one roof.

Apart from home retail stores, Viva Home offers a mix of entertainment and F&B outlets to cater for everyone needs. They have a number of restaurants, cafe and bakeries located at various parts of the mall.

One of the bakery that I always get drawn to is the BreadDelicious bakery. BreadDelicious is located at the ground floor along the same row with other F&B outlets such as Boston restaurant, Kenny Rogers, Cha Time , Subway and etc.

What drew us to the bakery the first time was their Angry Bird cakes. At that time when Angry Birds was hot and popular, you can practically see the birds everywhere. And it was close to Maximus's birthday and we were on a lookout for good bakery to order his Angry Bird birthday cake from.

The bakery offers a variety of savoury buns, breads, cakes and pastries. I have tried a variety of their buns and cakes and I can give them a thumbs up. Their buns are delicious and most importantly, fresh and soft.

But the best and most unique to me is their Moo Moo cake loaf. Firstly, their packaging is an eye catcher with a printed cartoonish cow head.

Open up the box and you will be greeted by the sweet smell of their fresh cream loaf. Their Moo Moo cake is nicely baked with fresh cream fillings and patterned with black patches resembling dairy cows.

Look at their generous fresh cream fillings.

Maximus enjoys this cake and you can see him smiling giving his seal of approval.

Another favourite of ours is their cream puff. They come in a packet of four and the cream puffs are of a  reasonable size.

The cream puff pastry has a nice springy bite unlike some cream puffs that are soggy. The cream puff is very soft and fresh and best to eat chilled.

BreadDelicious is not stingy with their ingredients as you can see the generous amount of fresh cream. Their fresh cream are one of the best that I have tasted so far.

Last but not least, the employees are friendly and attentive to their customers.
